This hotel is a lovely family run place. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The staff were all more than helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is quiet in a tucked away loacation, so come here if you really want to get away from it all. The food, absolutely fantastic ! We were half board, breakfast each day was served promptly, hot and was a brilliant selection daily. Eve meal each night was presented and cooked well and was delicious. Eve meal was ordered after breakfast on the day which we think is a great idea as you tend to know what you fancy on the day. Only downside of this hotel in our room was a bit tired looking. The bathroom could do with modernising. On the upside again though, we slept really soundly as its so quiet around and woke up each morning to a wonderful sea view. We relied on buses for travel which were all in easy walking distance from the hotel and run very regularly. I should think we would definitely revisit. A peaceful, relaxing, well fed stay.

The hotel owner and staff were warm and welcoming, friendly but not pushy. The room was very comfortable and the food delicious. I felt that if I needed to ask for anything every effort would be made to meet my request. It was also lovely to be a little further out than the centre, more peaceful, and the cliff path began just yards away.

My mother and I spent two wonderful weeks at the Blue Horizon. It is a lovely and comfortable hotel in a nice rural location, close to the spectacular cliff paths. For getting around Guernsey there are two bus stops within easy walking distance (and you even get a free bus pass from the hotel). Upon our arrival there was a warm welcome and we were shown to a clean and well-equipped room with direct access to the pool. The owners and all of the staff were always very friendly and helpful. We had booked half board which we certainly did not regret as the food is really first class, It was always delicious, with large portions and a great variety to choose from (even for us as vegetarians). If we come back to Guernsey we will definitely stay at the Blue Horizon again!
