"A nice relaxing holiday, helped by friendly attentive staff."

The hotel is a little dated and showing its age, but as regards cleanliness, service and food it couldn't be faulted. The hotel is ideally situated on a junction of the main coast road and a major arterial road to access the rest of the Island. There are great views of the spectacular west coast sunsets.

Pro's: lovely position across road from beach; friendly staff; clean accommodation; breakfast buffet has plenty of choice; attached brasserie offers excellent food at good prices; large TV lounge with games; Internet access; parking Consideration might be given to overall decor and "tired" feel to the property

I stayed here for a week on a motorcycling holiday first week of May 2015 and was blown away by the hospitality, yes the rooms are basic but clean with pleanty of hot water. Breakfast was good, the bacon was to die for with a choice of friut and cereal. The food in the bar was 10/10 real home cooked food; cooked by Mr Frost with a real passion for taste, couldn't fault it. The staff were a dream nothing was to much trouble. Location was spot on, 20 mins from ferry, 10 minutes from airport on the lovely west coast. If you want a hotel on a budget look no further, I have no problem recomending this hotel and will defintley stay again.

Our two day visit resulted from an unexpected opportunity to escape. Time being precious, we were a little anxious about wasting any. On arrival we immediately realised that our concerns were misplaced. The greeting we had was warm and genuine. We were amongst people who cared about quality and excellence.... and we had our fair share of both! As a token of our overall reaction to our L'Eree experience we are already planning another (but longer) escape. We are delighted to put our very sincere thanks on the record. ..... Anne & Elwyn

Clearly this place doesn't aim to be the Hilton, but it provides everything for a good old-fashioned holiday. The location is superb, with the room offering sea views and the sound of waves on the shore. Plenty of parking (and a bus stop outside the door). Food was well cooked and presented - in the way it used to be done before TV chefs decided that appearance was more important than content - no drizzles of exotic sauces and no ingredients I've never heard of, just good traditional meals. Breakfast is buffet style and as much as you could want. The hotel's interior is a bit quirky, it has character, and doors that open with a key rather than a card, which says it all.

Having stayed at the hotel on a previous occasion with two of our grand children it was decided to stay here again. The location, excellent food and very friendly helpful staff being the main reason for the return. In this I was not disappointed. On the first evening we found that the overhead bed light was broken and when I informed the staff they wanted to repair it there and then however I said that the following day was fine. On our return next day it was fixed. Only faults found were with the room - damp smell on arrival and no fixing for shower head.

I have just returned from a week at the Eree Bay Hotel. The hotel is only a 2 star so don't expect glamour .It is a bit tired looking and could do with some TLC.However My room was lovely, spacious with a seating area and a beautiful sea view.It was tidied daily and fresh towels and tea/coffee were provided. At first I found the manageress ( receptionist, evening bar and waitress) a bit scary as she was very business like However, she was extremely efficient, ensuring the smooth running of both the accommodations and restaurant, As the week progressed she seemed to relax and smiled a lot more often. The same is to be said for the staff- (a small team of about 6 ).As I engaged with them, so they relaxed. Evening meals are outstanding-piping hot, and delicious - esp the home made soups. The Hotel owner is the chef and the food is outstanding. My partner and I hired bikes for the week - this is the best way to get about, and we found the islanders very friendly. We only to stop and take out our map and someone would stop and ask if were ok or needed any help.I would deftinately return to Eree Bay.

My wife and I stayed here for my brother's wedding. We were well looked after, the hotel was comfortable and the food excellent. The chef's king Prawns and the Sea Bass were to die for! The room was confortable and a decent size The only down things were the douvets were a bit on the small side and the mattress not quite comfortable enough (for us). All the staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful. Ideally situated and with a bus stop just outside easy to get to and from the town as well as the airport. Wil definitely stay there again.
