Nestling in a quiet lane in the parish of St Martins, the delightful Sunnydene Country Hotel is set within its own extensive grounds of outstanding charm and beauty. Situated about half a mile from the spectacular scenery of the south coast and close to St Peter's Port and the airport, this small 3 Star country hotel has a friendly atmosphere and is well positioned for exploring the Channel Islands.

Throughout your holiday our aim is to give you the individual care and attention that will make your stay an experience to be fondly remembered.

From the smile that first greets you at our reception, you will find that at Sunnydene the warmth of welcome and peaceful ambience will delight you.

Rooms

Sunnydene Country Hotel has 20 en-suite rooms, 14 of them in the main house plus a suite of 6 garden rooms adjacent to the patio and outdoor heated swimming pool. All rooms are non-smoking bedrooms and tastefully decorated and furnished.

Most rooms are Double but a few rooms are available for Single occupancy and facilities include: hair dryer, telephone, colour TV and free tea & coffee making facilities.

Sunnydene Country Hotel has a 12 metre heated outdoor swimming pool (May to September).

    We had a great holiday at Sunnydene. Our room was very comfortable and we had all the facilities we could need. Meal time was always something we looked forward to as the breakfast and evening meal options were varied and excellent, and cooked to perfection by Miguel, although my wife also took a shine to Betty's Irish soda bread. The table and room service by the 2 Kamilla's and Patrycja (and the 4th girl whose name we didn't catch) was perfect, they were all friendly, speedy where necessary and very efficient. The hosts, Betty and Tony, were lovely and we couldn't have been made more welcome. They were both really nice to chat to and were able to provide any advice or guidance we needed. It was also very kind of Tony & Betty to arrange for such nice weather!

    We had a wonderful time at the Sunnydene Hotel. Good room, good food, good company and good service, Betty &Tony were very good hosts and very attentive no welcoming.     We were looking for a comfortable and relaxed holiday and Sunnydene exceeded our expectations. We arrived early with our luggage to be welcomed by Tony and shown to our room as it was ready, The room was comfortable and clean with two chairs in the bay window. On our first evening we ate out in St Peter's Port, getting an early evening meal deal and returning to Sunnydene on the 81 bus. However having enjoyed an excellent breakfast at Sunnydene, we took our next evening meal at Sunnydene and ate there for the rest of the week. Enjoying the food, the friendly and relaxed atmosphere created by Betty and Tony and excellent service from the staff.

    An excellent week away in a hotel where nothing was too much trouble. The owners were brilliant and their staff very friendly and helpful. This is the second time we have stayed here and if we were to return to Guernsey this will again be our place to stay.

    Comfortable stay, lovely outdoor pool and gardens. Great place to relax and recharge. Hosts Betty and Tony work hard to ensure individual needs met. Good choice of menu. We were on half board and we enjoyed the variety of options and quality of the food. My friend is vegetarian and care was taken to ensure choices were available. Room was of good standard with lovely view of sea and so peaceful, hearing the birds singing in the beautiful gardens was great. Bus stop outside hotel useful for getting around island. Lovely cliff walks nearby. All the staff helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Guernsey.

    Our room was a little small but we spent so little time in there it was ok. I do have a bruise on my leg that I got when I went to the bathroom in the night. The service was excellent and the food really good. We didn't get chance to use the pool but was reliably told that it was very warm. All in all it was a great experience and I would gladly go back again. We met some really lovely people there too.

    A lovely, small family run hotel. Very hospitable owners who manage the hotel efficiently so that you can relax and enjoy your holiday as the polite and well trained staff help to look after things.     My wife and i have been coming to Guernsey for many year's we had passed by the hotel on many occasions but had never stayed. This year we decided to book for 10days what a gem this hotel is, value for money fabulous.The staff where excellent the breakfast's fantastic and the chioce on the evening menu was tremendous.This of course is due to Betty and Tony who own and run Sunnydene what wonderful hosts they are we cant wait to return next year. A very friendly atmospher lovely and clean, loads of information leaflets of the islands.. DEPOSIT

A non-refundable deposit of £50.00 per person will be taken when your Reservation has been made with us with the balance due 3 weeks prior to travel.

If booking within 3 weeks of arrival, full payment may be taken at time of booking.

PAYMENT TERMS

Any outstanding balance is due 3 weeks prior to arrival.

Payment can be made by any recognised credit/debit card.

CANCELLATION TERMS

We respectfully remind guests that a reservation is a contract between us [the accommodation] and yourselves.

Our minimum cancellation charge is £50.00 per person or 10 percent of the total amount due for accommodation (whichever is the greater) and is applicable to all online bookings cancelled.

Should you cancel your reservation the following additional charges will apply:

  • 14 - 21 days prior to arrival - 60%
  • 7-13 days prior to arrival - 70%
  • 0-6 days prior to arrival - 100%

TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is strongly recommended that adequate Travel Insurance is taken out to guard against any costs arising from cancellation, late arrival, early departure or due to Guernsey and UK having no reciprocal health agreement in place at this time.
